My First Card

Last year I told myself that I would make my own Christmas cards & gift tags. Of course, that didn't happen. But earlier today, I just finished my very first card for my best friend who will be celebrating her birthday in a couple of days. I'll give this to her this weekend.

Studio Azul January Kit

I decided to join the Studio Azul Sketch Challenge using their kit. I made 2 LOs which I would choose from later. But for some strange reason, one got 'misplaced'. Of course, it showed up right after the deadline.

I enjoyed doing these LOs and loved the kit because it was extraordinary for me. Looking forward for the next 3 kits.

Challenges

I'm just starting to join local scrap challenges and I'm happy about it. For one, it gives me the discipline to finish an LO (much earlier than my usual pace) because of the set deadline. And it is also an opportunity for me to 'pressure' myself to let my creative side surface (especially in journaling!!!), if at all I have one. :-)

Here's another wedding LO that I finished during the holidays. Please excuse the over stamping. I had just purchased my first ever set of swirly stamps at the time so the excitement was a bit over the top. Good thing I was able to control it. :-)
