Our challenge this week is to make a project (layout, card, etc.) about out theme "Holiday". It doesn't have to be Christmas but anything that you and / or your family celebrates.

Here's my layout:

This is a photo of my family and relatives on my father's side - with my brother, my uncle, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces. Having lunch together on Christmas Day is a tradition I grew up in. I don't remember not doing this.

Papers are October Afternoon, buttons by American Crafts, rubons by Heidi Grace, and alpha by Thickers.

It's a Two-fer! Use It Tuesday Challenge # 12...

Hello again users! It's that time again to dig into your stash for another challenge at Use It Tuesday.

Our challenge this week is to make a project (layout, card, etc.) that has TWO HOARDED ITEMS. I know we all have more than two items but just relax, breathe, and soon you'll be able to decide which two to use.

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a fruitful yet delightful easter weekend.

I can't believe the first quarter of 2010 is over. Where did your first 3 months go? Mine went by so quickly. Our shoe factory is finally closed. One of my house angels resigned leaving me with much housework while running the family business. Then while doing hosework, I found so much stuff at home that need to be disposed of. Oh, and I celebrated my birthday in February.

On the scrapbook front, I was surprised that I made more layouts than I had expected, considering my pace. Here are some of them.

December Photos

I had started on some LOs this month. You see, I have this bad habit - I start on one LO, linger on it, then set it aside, unfinished. And then I start another and do the same thing. It's a bad cycle. And so I always get stuck with several unfinished LOs. With a few waiting to be done, I thought I would be able to finish them during our out-of-town long weekend but 'duh' me, I didn't bring scrapping materials. Smart talaga.

Today, I stayed home, spent quality time with my boy and then got my hands dirty. Finally completed 2 LOs.

Christmas LO (No Title)

I used most of the materilas from the Studio Azul December Kit and added Imaginisce Poinsettia Leaves, HOTP Fabric Stickers, Stickles, and Misc Ribbon.

Journaling: "Christmas - The Christmas holiday celebrating the birth of Christ. A winter-celebration where families & friends gather together; a time of warnth, hope, peace & goodwill."

Materials: DCWV CS, Dream Street papers, QNC brads, x, FP felt shapes, HS alpha, Thickers foam letters, FP stamps, Love Elsie subon alpha, Semco acrylic paint, Karen Foster metal alpha, CB rubon ricrac, Misc brads, Misc ribbon

Journaling: I really love this photo of Butch & Jao. They were looking at each other with playful smiles as if they had a secret. I guess there really is a unique bond between father and son. (Dec 31, 2007, The Fort.)
